Jetpac Game History
Jetpac was the first in a series of games to be released by Ultimate Play The Game, it was also the companies inaugural release. The game was initially released for the ZX Spectrum, and proved to be very successful.
The History of Jetpac
Originally released in 1983, Jetpac was designed and developed by Tim and Chris Stamper. Published by Ultimate Play The Game, Jetpac is a single player game of the Shoot 'em up genre.
The game starts with Jetman looking to assemble his rocket which comes in three separate parts that are scattered around the screen. While doing so our hero has to defeat various enemies that are preventing him from completing his task.
After completion of the first level, Jetman can use the rocket to travel to various other planets to collect precious gems or gold. But before taking off again Jetman has to locate fuel to refill the rocket. Every few levels there will be a new rocket that needs to be built again from scratch, and the whole procedure starts again.
The various enemies will change on every level, each with it's own patterns of movement, so observing the patterns is a must before attempting to collect any of the fuel or gems in the level.
